We’re small business champions helping entrepreneurs grow strong, resilient, and stable businesses to enhance our region’s economy and the livability of our communities.
As former and current business owners ourselves, we relate to small business owners in a way that is hard to match. With access to a SBDC network across the nation, we pool our mistakes, learnings, successes, and business understanding to help elevate the small businesses that work with us.
We serve the Greater Roanoke Area, Franklin County, Alleghany Highlands, and the New River Valley.
We’re Only As Good As The Advisors At The Wheel
We become invested in our client’s success, and it shows in our economic impact.

Our free services are made possible by our region’s partners and sponsors:
The Greater Roanoke & NRV SBDC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and supported by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia SBDC, and George Mason University Mason Enterprise. Other funding is provided by local administrations, economic development offices, organizations, and businesses that are all champions in your corner. Thank you to our host, the City of Roanoke, for providing space and support for our work.
We currently serve the Greater Roanoke Valley, Franklin County, Alleghany Highlands, and New River Valley.
Two locations. One mighty team.
We have regional partners that provide office and conference space for our work. Visitors by appointment only.
