Lesson 3: Customer’s Perspective

Exercise: Brand Audit

Look at your business objectively from the customer’s point of view and think about the customer experience from their first interaction to the end.

Where in the customer experience is your brand great at showing up? Where is it not so great?

Can you identify areas where you are engaging with customers and they would have a strong or not-so-strong sense of your brand?

Action Steps:

Create a written brand identity: Include applicable fonts, colors, imagery, and descriptions of what you want your brand to convey to your customers.

Extra reading: What is brand identity? And how to design and develop a great one.
